Syd Wajcman
Owner & Occupational Therapist
Syd is a certified occupational therapist who has dedicated her practice to working with children of all needs. She founded Syd the OT in 2021, realizing how great the need was. Since completing her Masters in Occupational Therapy at McGill University, Sydney has gained experience working in a variety of pediatric fields as part of incredible multidisciplinary teams. Her love for children has followed her from the public hospital setting, to the clinical rehabilitation setting, to academia and finally to private practice. Sydney's mission is to create a welcoming, home-like environment focused on functional independence and client-centered practice. Each child is unique and deserves a positive therapeutic experience that utilizes his or her strengths, perseverance and special personalities to achieve desired goals. Sydney is dedicated to providing children and their families with the opportunity to participate and observe measurable and remarkable progress toward success. Each session with Sydney aims to promote the child's autonomy and commitment to a fulfilling daily life.

Victoria Garner
Occupational Therapist
Tori is a certified occupational therapist dedicated to providing children and families with compassionate, fun and client-centered support. Tori has experience working with children in school, at home, online and off. Her goal is to establish therapeutic relationships that honor the unique experiences and abilities of children, their families and educators in order to achieve meaningful goals for all involved. She believes that the best learning takes place when the adults around a child identify and build on his or her strengths and personality, in ways that foster functional independence and shared experiences of joy. That's why she builds her sessions around identifying and developing each child's natural interests and motivation to achieve therapeutic goals. After completing her Masters in Occupational Therapy at McGill University, Tori spent the first part of her OT career working with adults, but her love of children and learning through play brought her here to Accompagner à grandir. Tori is an avid hiker, dog lover and board and video game player. She loves spending time in nature and enjoys a long list of artistic and musical hobbies, including painting, guitar and DIY furniture.

Melanie Haffar
Occupational Therapist
Mélanie is a certified occupational therapist dedicated to supporting and empowering children and their families to participate fully in the valued activities of daily living. She obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Occupational Therapy at McGill. During her training, Mélanie discovered her passion for child development and how it can be fostered through various occupational therapy interventions. Mélanie adopts a child-centered practice based on each child's unique strengths and personality. She aims to create a fun and welcoming environment that promotes functional independence and the achievement of desired personalized goals. In her spare time, Mélanie prefers to participate in activities with her large family, explore Montreal's urban life and plan her next trips.

Cat Fournier
Occupational Therapist
Cat is a certified occupational therapist with a passion for helping children discover their strengths and reach their full potential. With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sports Studies from Bishop's University and a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Queen's University, she has experience working with infants in neonatal development, as well as with children in grades 1-3 in school settings. Cat has also spent many summers guiding outdoor adventures, leading canoe expeditions and mentoring children aged 7 to 16. She takes a strengths-based approach, focusing on each child's unique interests and working closely with families to create environments conducive to growth and the achievement of meaningful goals. In her spare time, Cat enjoys spending time in nature, canoeing, climbing and hiking. She also enjoys crocheting and reading.

Jeff Kobersy
Occupational Therapist
Jeff is a dynamic and passionate occupational therapist, newly graduated from the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivières. With a heart full of energy and enthusiasm, he brings a playful, caring approach to his work ; A true kid at heart. Having worked with children for several years as a swimming instructor, he is skilled at tailoring his approach to meet each individual's unique needs. Outside of the clinic, Jeff is passionate about fitness and spinning, spending time in nature, and cherishing quality moments with family and friends. Proud 'cat dad' since 2020 to his beloved feline companion, Mittens.
